During your turn, you must flip a card from the top of your deck into the center pile. Upon doing so, you must quickly say two words - first, state the printed color of the word in the center, and second, name the picture depicted in the box of the same color as the word.

If you make a mistake, such as pausing too long or saying the wrong words, you must take the entire center pile and add it to your hand. Conversely, if one of the four special "slap" phrases - "gray whale", "blue berry", "yellow sun", or "red rose" - appears, the last player to quickly slap the pile must take it and add it to their hand.
